Name and Shame!

Can the FA management set up a league table or something to show managers that are unreliable in the transfer market. Because of the restrictions on how many transfers you can do in one week alot of teams are relying on managers putting the transfers thru. You don't want to let a player leave if his replacement isn't going to turn up.

I think this was called for by some people in the last game so will have backing this time as well I'm sure. I think FA brought in the Completed Transfer bit to show who was failing deals?

A league table might be difficult as sometimes there is an honest reason behind deals falling through. I do think if a manager is consistently unreliable or abusive or something similar in negotiations they need to be named and shamed by the manager dealing with them. Posting on here or writing a media piece. People need to know if they are going to be dealing with a reliable person or a potentially problematic person.

I prided myself on my word and helping new managers with advice or by setting up a link with loan deals between clubs in the last game and I plan on doing the same this time. If you don't want to be named and shamed be honest when dealing with me or don't deal with me in the first place!

It had been suggested before about ranking managers on reliability but it's too hard to do because as mentioned, there are occassionally reasons behind deals falling through such as one manager puts a deal through the wrong week.

The Completed Transfers shows why deals don't go through and if theres a good reason behind your deal falling through you can post a reply there stating it so when people see your deal fell through, they'll also see your explanation. Otherwise people will assume you have messed the other manager about I would guess.

As managers have already found, using the media to air issues about transfer negotiations is a good way of naming and shaming and allows both sides to get their sides of the argument across, and makes for a lively atmosphere!!
