With the rumours going about that Espanyol is interested in getting my signature i would just like to say that i would jump at the chance,its a bigger club and they have a great history,i believe i have got Athletic Bilbao into a healthy position in the league and the cup plus they have now got a few pounds in the bank,i believe that Bilbao will continue there rise in my absense so id like to put forward my name to the Espanyol board and say that i would be happy to take the job if they offered it,i dont want the Bilbao board to be unhappy about my decision i just feel ,as a person that its time to make the next step,im sure next year if a got the job that we would be playing against Bilbao and id just like to say that the fans,players and background staff are 1 of the best i have worked for,its not goodbye but would just like to say that im available Espanyol.
