I'm very pleased to have been given the managers job at Liverpool, and I'm going to waste no time in making changes to squad in order to really challenge for trophies, which I believe we can and will do, sooner rather than later.
I have 4 very strong central midfielders, and I need to strengthen in other areas, so I'm going to have to let one of them go, and it's going to be Luis Garcia. He's age 30, has 10 for skill, 9 for attacking, and also has a bonus point for passing and shooting. In the 4 matches he has played this season, he has an impressive 3 goals and 4 assists, so he'd clearly be a useful addititon to any team. His FA valuation is £12.3m, and to be honest it's going to take an offer around that amount to make me want to let him go.
I'm also selling Boudewijn Zenden. He's a left midfielder, age 32, with stats of 3 7 6 2. Very useful cover in that position for a team, and probably a good first team player at clubs maybe in a lower division. His FA valuation is £4.4m, but I'll accept a nice round £4m.
I also have young CM Paul Anderson available. He's 20 years old, with stats 5 1 4 1. I don't need him, so if someone wants to offer me £1m for him they can have him.
I have no interest in selling anyone else at the moment, but that situation will change as and when I bring in new players.
