I can speak some Welsh but not alot. Mostly stupid things like "Do you like coffee?" (Wynt tyn hoffi coffi) and "My head hurts" (Mae pen tost arvi)

I hear-by declear this day in the name of most Welsh football fans - The national get John Toshack out of his position before he finally reuins our country and all the good young players that we have coming through day!

Im still backing him until the end of the campaign at least. I think people are underestimating Sam Marino's home record Cyprus only won 1-0, Rep of Ireland 2-1 and even the czech who have easily qualified won 3-0. Its a tough game wheb they just put 11 me behind the ball.

I blame Mark Hughes for this mess just as much as Tosh

I know what you mean about not blooding youngsters but Hughes has progressed now. He was still a naive, inexperienced manager then - Toshack should know better.

Germany won 13-0 in San Marino though Luke so it aint that good

Did you see the Germans at Cardiff? They are a brilliant team and by far the best international team I have seen play, quality throughout the team. If the odds werent so crap id put money on them winning it. Germany are the exception in this group id say.

As far as Im concerned with Hughes he was looking out for himself and looking for the prem job he wanted (and got in the end). His record when he left was terrible, 2 years and 10 competitive games without a win and an old aging team. Basically Hughes took a risk with the national team and it didnt pay off, He had a good team so went with it and ignored the youngsters completely. If he had got us through then it would have worked but it didnt and Wales are now paying for it. Its a shame but in the end pressure got to Hughes. I think we needed something like 2 points from the remaining 4 games to qualify and we failed. Then we had the play/offs instead and well we all know about that (although we did managed 0-0 in Russia, England take note lol)

Thing that annoyed me the most about Hughes and pleased me the most with Tosh is the Wales U21. Hughes totally ignored them, he had no interest in them at all and they went something like 2 years without a win. Tosh got a grip of the team and straight away got in a good manager to work with and took an interest. I remember him leaving James Collins out of the senior squad for a friendly to play in the U21 in a competitive match and thats how it should be for a small nation like us. Im pretty sure the likes of Bales, Collins, Ramsey, Gunter and co will be so much better off for having a much better U21. Tosh reign has been far from good and we should be doing a lot better and I wish he had swallowed some pride earlier and kept the likes of Thatcher and Oster although I dont think they would have added a lot and its gone on far to long for them o come back. However I dont see changing manager now when we have put 2 years into putting these youth players in will help thing. One thing I do know is whoever and whenever someone takes over from Tosh they will have a healthier squad than he did.
