After Friday's play off final and friendly games season one will be over. Thanks to all managers who have been a part of the successful season. In previous seasons of the old game I've managed to get the update and resetting of the game done in 2 days so the new season is ready by the Monday and the new season kicks off without any break. However I'm unsure this will happen this time round with the various updates I need to include, the engine needs to be changed and I've been unable to work on it while it's been in use.
A notice about the start of the new season will go up at the weekend, if there is to be a week without any games I may well allow managers a second set of friendlies on a week Friday.
Along with tactic changes for the new season I'm looking to bring in assistant managers and chairman personalities. If these aren't included this season they'll be something worked on for next season. I've already mentioned the assistant manager idea, but the chairman function should be fairly easy to include and will allow the introduction of different chairmen types with varying amounts of money. This will lead to take overs in the game, and will be linked to the chairman rating which is currently part of FA.
Please note: Players injured or suspended for the friendly matches can't be played, and they won't have their time out reduced eg. If a player is out for 3 weeks, the friendlies won't be counted as 1 of these.

In other news FA is in discussions with various campanies about sponsorship deals for next season as I remain firmly behind the theory that FA should be free to play. Further announcements about this are expected in the next week.
