If a chairman has left a club and the loss of financial backing has put the club into administration this is what follows.
FA will take control of transfer dealings until the situation is cleared.
Administrators will try to make sure the wages aren't too high, the squad is left balanced, and the finances are sustainable.
Administration is likely to last 1-2 weeks and in that time a few players will be sold to clear the debts. This doesn't mean everyone will be sold, but also the best offers have to be accepted during this 1-2 week period and this may mean that good players are sold for less than you could get in normal circumstances.
Due to the large number of offers, deals for Chievo players will be tied up this week, although some may have to wait until next week to actually happen.
Deals for Chievo will be agreed by the end of today, and managers who have been successful in their bids will be contacted. I'm not extending the bidding longer as I could raise over £50 million based on the bids so far, and managers are starting to pull out of bids they've made because the prices have got to such a level that they're overstretching their finances, and I don't have time or don't want to be messing around other managers who are making bids they can back up.
