Arsenal

Arsenal v Wigan

This looks for all the world like a 3 point banker for the Gunners - but Gaffer Simon Newcombe should be wary of the threat from Wigans forwards. Alhough they have lost numerous games this season - the strikers keep up a profilic strike rate and so will have to be kept at bay. Can Arsenal steam roller there way yet again - or will the keep struggle to keep up with the Spurs and the Chelsea's of the league? The media is also seeing it as a good chance to perhaps jump ahead of Spurs in the title race if they drop points against the Hammers before the crunch meeting between the two sides at White Hart Lane next week

Dangerman - Fernando Torres
Predicted score - 3-1

Spurs v West Ham

Many peoples pick of the premiership games this week as two form sides meet at Spurs. Chris has his new side playing great football, and sit high up the table - but can they keep up the momentum against the seasoned Hammers? West Ham have been in fine form ever since they were promoted to the top flight and seem to fear no one, especially with a solid defence, decent midfield, and strikeforce of Ashton and Tevez. Will this be enough against the record of Berbatov who has been in lethal form? This critic is hedging his bets and going for a high score draw!

Dangerman - Carlos Tevez
Predicted score - 3-3

Newcastle v Portsmouth

A lot of people see Newcastle's position in the table as not a true reflection of their potiential fortunes this year. They have often played weaker sides against the top boys presumably to save themselves for exactly this sort of game. Portsmouth are the likes of team they will have to match or beat to stay up this year - so many eyes will be on St James Park this weekend. How will Newcastle cope with the much fancied Portsmouth team? Where will the goals come from since Martins departure to Arsenal? Can the young midfield cope with the seasoned pros of Portsmouth? How much time will the Newcastle manager get to improve his fortunes?

Dangerman - Sol Campbell
Predicted score - 1-2

Man City v Man Utd

A special weekend this week for both halfs of Manchester with much bragging rights up for grabs to the victor of this encounter! Have Man City ever had a better chance to beat their rivals than now? Man U are on a poor run of form considering the talent they have avaliable to them - do Man City have enough in the tank to pile on more pressure for the Old Trafford boss? This game looks to be won and lost in midfield and attack - with the Rooneys and Ronaldos against the Iniesta and Anelka's. A good game on paper is certainly on the cards!!

Dangerman - Ronaldinho
Predicted score 2-2

Fulham v Liverpool

Gerrard and Co visit Fulham this week on a good run of goal scoring form. Fulham have had a largely dissapointing start to the year in terms of results but some people speculate they are not too far away from securing some decent results. They also have a respeted manager who will not be afraid to experiment regardless of the opposition. This weekend against Liverpool may be a step too far for Fulham - but even a point today may prove useful come the end of the season

Dangerman - Dirk Kuyt
Predicted score - 1-3

Chelsea v Everton

Drew's Boys look to continue their dominant form against newly promoted Everton at the Bridge. With the capture of Sergei Ramos last week - the Chelsea first team just gets more and more dangerous and all visiting teams to the Bridge seem to be looking to contain them first before entertaining how they might go about sneaking a draw let alone a win! Can former Arsenal frontman Henry stem the relentess tide of wins? Or will it be another cricket score for the Stamford Bride faithful?

Dangerman - Kaka
Predicted score - 3-1
