Adam Hubbard walks into the room with the worlds media waiting.
"I am announcing my immediate resignation as manager of Liverpool Football Club and retirement as a manager in Football Academy. I have very much enjoyed my seasons in the game, first with Newcastle United, and more recently with Liverpool. I've enjoyed many great moments with both clubs. I originally left Newcastle when I believed I'd taken them to a position of strength with the potential to push on under new management, and joined Liverpool with the belief that I could cement the club in the very higher reaches of the Premier League, and make an impact in the Cup competitions, domestically and in Europe. Considering the strength of some of my main rivals, and the fact that it is so difficult to topple those who have such great talent throughout their squads, I believe I've given it a good shot, but ultimately fallen short of the main aim which is, of course, silverware. I've kept faith with many of the squad which I inherited, choosing to sell only a few and buy a few more to replace them, but it's now time for a new, deserving manager to take Liverpool on and attempt to build them into a trophy winning outfit. We have some world class players at the club, in many positions, and under new guidance I'm sure they can flourish. So with that I bid you farewell. Thank you to every manager I've ever dealt with, won against and lost against, thank you for the very important work that goes on behind the scenes to make Football Academy what it is, and finally, good luck to the next manager of Liverpool Football Club in your quest to bring Football Academy glory to Anfield. Thanks everyone."
And with that, Hubbard exits the press conference and leaves the media flashing cameras and frantically taking notes on this dramatic announcement.
I will like to put my name down for the post at Liverpool, i know this wont go down with my chairman or the Spurs fans as i have only been in London for half a season but i feel that this is a massive chance for me to break chelsea's hold in the prem and see of the challenge that Arsenal are doing this season.Liverpool have a fantastic squad and with my free flowing football i can promise the Anfield faithfull some very entertaining football with plenty of goals.I really do feel that this club will benefit with me at the helm in the next 2 season i will bring cups to Anfield which is what the supporters deserve.
