Manager of the Month (week 19) - Italian Serie A

Serie A is on the verge of crowning new Champions after league leader Roma stormed to 4 wins out of 4, including a massive win over perennial challengers Inter Milan. Elsewhere the race for Europe is looking like it could be going to the wire with Juventus pushing an ageing AC Milan side all the way. The relegation battle is still anyones bet with only 3 points separating the bottom four teams. Livorno currently sit in safety but the likes of Brescia, Atalanta and Udinese will all be hoping they can prevail in the race for survival. Please read the following synopsis before casting your vote on the Seria A manager of the month.

Adam Goble (Roma) A superb month for Gobles Roma has brought them within touching distance of the title and their five point gap looks all but unassailable on current form. 4 wins out of 4 make Goble a leading contender for this months manager of the months crown.

Points won; 12/12  Positional Change; 1st > 1st

Steve Esdale (Inter Milan)
Inter have had a tough set of fixtures this month and been desperately unlucky with injuries to key personnel. Retrospectively it seems remarkable that they have run Roma even this close and a return of 7 points from 12 represents no modest achievement all things considered. Steve Esdale will want to try and end his Inter reign on a high, as he plans his move to the red part of Merseyside by hunting down a dominant Roma outfit.

Points won; 7/12  Positional Change; 2nd > 2nd

Steve Jenkins (Juventus)
Juventus are refusing to lay down In their pursuit of AC Milan and European football and credit must go to their manager Steve Jenkins. Faced with a daunting task of splitting the Milan and Roma dominance of Serie A he has attacked the challenge with vigour and a fresh faced young squad who look set to flourish over the coming seasons.

Points won; 6/12  Positional Change; 4th > 4th
