As we approach the end of season 3 I wanted to let people know the situation of manager movement as there are a number of people with pending moves in place. Any manager not involved in a competitive match after this Monday's play-off Semi's will be moved to their new teams.
The transfer window has re-opened this week and as such managers will be able to put transfers through on the Friday's team sheet.
If you don't have a play-off Final or European Cup Final to play on Friday, you will be able to play a Friendly against a team of your choice. Just put in the comments section of your team sheet for Friday, the team you have agreed to play, and if both teams are sent in then the friendly match will be played.
Fitness and player experience will not be effected by friendly matches. Players injured or suspended will not be able to take part in friendlies though.
Any questions about the above can be emailed to me or posted here if you feel its a point that could effect others.
Uploaded now are the up to date fan and chairman ratings along with a Manager Hall of Fame (link off the home page for this). Also the stadiums have been updated with attendance data for the season just gone.
Upgrades for season 4 include:
Weather conditions - Weekly forecasts will help managers plan tactics, formations, and player selections to suit the upcoming conditions. This will encourage teams to become more than just a 1-dimensional side as every weather condition will have effective ways to play in and uneffective ways.
Results - The results stats have had an overhaul. Produced now will be Goals, Chances, Shots On Target, Shots Off Target, Pass Completion %, Cross Completion %, as well as the goal scorer and assist player and time.
Manager Hall of Fame - The first managers have been inducted into the Hall of Fame after season 3. This recognises managers who have achieved very high fan/chairman ratings and have held that at such a level for a certain amount of time.
Average Form - A new column in the team sheets page will show the players average form for the season. This is another aid for managers when assessing strengths and weaknesses in sides.
Team Sheet layout - As you'll see Monday when the update is fully done, the Team Sheets page has had a number of layout changes made. This was partly as a result of changes to the match engine, and partly to try and make it easier for managers to view the statistics available to them.
Rules and complete updates will take place Monday afternoon. I hope you enjoy the new features of Football Academy.
