I am just intrested in what people think is the best league around at the moment. I feel the Premiership race is more intresting that ever this season but I also think there is some good scraps going on in the lower leagues too.
The likes of Murcia are doing well and upsetting the applecart slightly in The Spanish Segunda. Chris @ Genoa has been given heavy financial clout in Serie B so it's intresting to see how Chris wheels-and-deals every week.
In my division (League 1), there is a great battle going on between some great managers, and me for promotion with some other teams making very good signings recently that could just see them sneak a playoff place come the end of the season. Personally I feel the Premiership is the best league this year with the title race between John @ Chelsea, Steve @ Liverpool and my old mate Simon @ Arsenal. I obviously wish Simon all the best and hope he goes on to steal it this year.
Your old mate Simon is still pissed off he stupidly lost to Portsmouth (no offence to Portsmouth!) by not paying enough attention to the weather..................... :)
The Premiership should be interesting as Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal all play eac other over the net few weeks - and then again at the end of the season as well
and dont forget Chris @ Man City and plucky West Brom who keep ruffling the feathers too
League One is interesting due to the pressure of some (Sunderland), the cash (Shef Weds) and the experience (Cardiff)
Spain is pretty decent too with Barca, Sevilla, Madrid (x2) all being able to beat each other on a given day
you could make an argument for each league to be honest!
Milan fell a long time ago and Roma are heading the same way as Inter and Milan of last season with very old squads. Its an open league over the next 5 seasons if the managers in Serie A can get a grip of things although Juventus are already very well prepared. I think its the most interesting because of the way the clubs are restructuring although maybe not the most competitive or the best quality at the moment.

quality is not necessarily competitiveness.. in fact i could work otherwise.. Over in this side of the (real) world.. mexican league is popular, and not because its high quality like the European leagues, but because there is no big 4 or 5, its an all square league up for grabs, so its a fierce battle all the way
Although i'll very much agree, Juventus is ready to eat u guys alive
La Liga is the most exciting because (lets be honest here) Sevilla and Real Madrid are the best two teams in the game, with Barcelona in the next group down along with the likes of Chelsea. Every season it is a mad scrap for the top spot and it is made even closer by the fact Sevilla have no manager. The next group down is Espanyol, Valencia and Athletico Madrid all going for the fourth spot and a shot at Europe - the ones who fail are dumped by their charmain because they have high expectations in a close league - leading to shock decisions (Tony Wood at Valencia). After that there is Valladolid and possibly Recreativo who tend to get points off the higher teams and have teams that can last out the season. Then there is always the one team who sets the standard for the bottom group (this time it is Zaragoza) and the teams who got promoted and Villareal must fight to keep within a reasonable distance to; in order to stay in the league.
I think that La Liga is the only league that everyone in it is realistically competing for something (be it survival, Europe or the top spot) and its not always set in stone that every result goes to the top teams - making it a hard league to predict and definitely the best.
