Are we having special odds? I remember some body talking about it was going to happen in the middle of the season

Gotta be honest - it slipped my mind

If people suggest what they want then ill run some special odds in the next few weeks

Ideas

1. Bet on teams to win their leagues (made up odds)
2. bet on scores in individual games (generated odds)
3. bet on top scorers (made up odds)
4. bet on assists / highest rating etc (made up odds)

etc etc

I think those ideas are good you could leave them open for 2 weeks then shut it and add them at the end

Managers will have to invest in better odds on special bets but lose that money for the rest of the season or try and win more money by playing week to week it brings som tactics in to it I think

Much like Schumacher in his hayday - you cant criticise huge success - just look to the failure of the challengers............................................................................. :)

My main problem with special BTO is that I dont have a generator to produce the results - so they are entirely made up my be (with a bit of logic obviously). If people are happy with that then we can leave this thread open for ideas and ill run them in week 16

I do agree with Stu - it adds a tactical layer as you have to use funds from your kitty on the special bets which means it isnt avaliable to you week to week to increase the pool

I still stick to my main point - the end of the season is half a season away. Me and Newcs have over a billion points so anything we put on odds that pay out at the end of the season will be peanuts that's better spend there and then each week. The only reason why it would be any use at all is a nice keepsake encase all your other money gets lost. But a nice little keepsake encase all your other moneys gets lost could also be made by betting on a match with low odds so it's very likely you'll win. It may not get you a fortune but you wont go bankrupt and you'll be able to spend that money the following week whereas if it's wrapped up in some end of season bet then it can't be spent.
