Well - just goes to show how times change and what desperation can do. Roma had a chance to buy Pisani earlier in the season for less than they just paid - at that time he wasn't good enough for them!

Yes but getting a CB then wasnt a major thing for me. But as one of mine is retiring ive had 2 put a bid in. I did put offers up on the notice bored saying if any1s intrested in selling any of they're players - and only had 1 reply

Dats wat happens wen all ur best players retire and u get no funding off ur chairman - Unlike other teams who just get cashed thrown at them

Glenn makes a good point he has had to wheel and deal because he was left with a threadbare squad because of retirements who were the backbone of the side he's teams in a transitional period and i think he'll keep them

as you might find out Dale as you have four retirements yourself i believe and how much would it take for you to sell Martyn Waghorn he's not had the best of seasons but i reckon he could do a good job for my team ;) haha

I'd disagree with that. people getting funding is blown out of proportion in the same way people move about clubs. The media focuses on it and in actual fact there isn't that much investment. Just people crying about how they dont get it. Most people dont, so get on with it, a lot of people are in the same boat.

Oh, and I dont think you're supposed to be having conversations in the Completed Transfer section. It would make a good thread in the Back Pages though biggrin

Just to reply 2 the latest message - there was quite a few teams in my league getting funds thought id mention that.
