I would like to formally apply for the vacant managerial position at Goodison Park. Hearing that the board are now actively seeking to install a manager means this is an application I feel I must make. I understand the board and fans of Bilbao may feel disappointed and let down, but I ask for their understanding. Should my application be unsuccessful then I hope my future lies at Bilbao, but am obviously prepared for the consequences.
I feel that my term at Bilbao has allowed me to develop skills in team building, and an appreciation of the importance of building success sustainably. I also have a proven track record in promotion in the English and Spanish league systems and believe that I now have the blend of skills to move forward with Everton and get them back into the Premier League. Although this season has been largely disappointing results wise I hope the Everton board can see that I have refused to sacrifice youth in a vain attempt to keep Bilbao up simply to enhance my reputation for jobs elsewhere.
Season 1: Coventry: Joined half way through season, finishing just outside play-offs after unbeaten season run-in.
Season 2: Coventry: First full season (PROMOTION > Championship)
Season 3: Coventry : (PROMOTION > Premier League)
Season 4: Sampdoria: (Italian Cup Runner Up)
Season 5: Athletic Bilbao (PROMOTION)
Season 6: Athletic Bilbao (FRUSTRATING)
Due to my circumstances I would also like to declare my IMMEDIATE availability should the Everton board so require. With the season already effectively over at Bilbao and Everton sitting in the play-offs I would relish the chance of trying to help them gain promotion this season.
I think you have proven that you are an excellent manager and certainly deserve the opportunity if this is the club you would like to work....
or you can have Barca next season!
Cheers Adam

I would like to back Mark in becoming the next manager of Everton, spent a while building up Coventry and taking them up to the premiership from Division 1 and is now building a very young side at Bilbao.
