Hi all,

This applies to everyone, not just people who play FAFF. In a bid to increase the entertainment factor of FAFF, there will be an award ceremony. This will involve awards ranging from 'the most effective' and 'the highet scorer', to 'the biggest waste of money' award and 'the worst formation'.

Everyone will be eligable for awards so even if you didn't choose to play FAFF, you may find that your team, players or even you get a mention so it will be worth a watch.

I will also be sending messages to people who's players/team/themselves have been nominated for an award and get their reaction/acceptence speech in order to make the whole experience more real... or surreal.

It's just a bit of fun and a lot of people will have worked on it to bring you all the most entertaining and satirical experience possible and therefore I hope that it gets a reasonable amount of views. Because it wont happen again if it only gets, say, 20 views.

The FAFF awards will take place after the final games go up at the end of the season, and at the same time the final FAFF scores and overall leaderboards will be posted along with the winners (the top three) who will win prizes as given out by FA.

Nominations for awards have been sent out and I am awaiting people's responses and I have already had a few back. Current awards are:

Higest Scoring Player Award
Lowest Scoring Player Award
Most Expensive Player Award
Most Pointless Player Award
Most Effective Choice Award
The 'Great Start But Not Such a Good Finish' Award
The 'I Chose The Wrong One' Award
The Biggest Letdown Award
Worst Formation Award
The Biggest Waste of Money Award
The Most Goals Overall Award
The Most Assists Overall Award
The Most Bookings Overall Award
The Most Reds Overall Award
The Most Clean sheets Overall Award

If anyone else has any other good ideas then let me know and I'll think about including them. Please bear in mind that these awards are for players chosen by people involved in FAFF and therefore just as an example, if somone has scored 50 goals in the FA season but were not chosen to be in anyone's FAFF team then they wont get the Most Points Scored Award. I'll be doing the actual FA teams of the season for each league that I do every season and I'll probably do the 'top 3s' that I introduced last season for each league, but that's separate from this award ceremony.
