As had been suggested European football is being expanded. Qualification has changed this coming season and the following season, a UEFA Cup competition will begin.

Qualification: Top, 2nd and 3rd in league plus Domestic Cup winners
3 groups of 4 - Top 2 plus two best 3rd placed teams qualify

UEFA Cup

Qualification: 4th, 5th, 6th in league plus Domestic Cup runners up
2 groups of 6 - Top 4 qualify
Quarter-Finals
Semi-Finals
Final


If the Domestic Cup winner has qualified through league finish, their place goes to the Cup runners up.

If the Cup runners up has qualified through league finish or are given a place in the European Cup, then their UEFA Cup place goes to 7th in the league.
