OK, I dont want this to sound like sour grapes, however, I feel like I am missing out a bit by not owning a club and trying to make them succesful. Obviously because I dont manage a big side then my wages are low and I will probably never afford to do this. At £1m a year I am unlikely to ever be in the market, I have also always managed in the lowest division of all three leagues.
Does anyone feel there is a disparity here or is it just me ?
They do control the earnings of their manager yes, The board will tell the chairman how much they can afford, then the manager offers a salary from there. Bearing in mind Everton manager is only on 0.3 mill
Is this your way of telling me you want a pay rise Andy!
I was told the board would pay some money and if I wanted to pay more to my manager I would have to use my own wages on paying him
Most managers get a go at a bigger team if they play the game for a few seasons. Some mess it up and go backwards again but I think every body gets a chance to improve the team they are with and the money they are on. New managers would struggle to own teams I think so there should be some thing in to stop that happening still

PS In his earlier post Ben at Leicester failed to mention that his wages have been tripled for the coming season (even in a recession) and he gets as many Walker's crisps as he can eat!
