Now, Man City have just signed Yaya Toure from Barcelona who I think is a class signing and to date they have signed Jerome Boetang, David Silva and now Toure. Personally, I can't see them finishing lower than 3rd this season and if they sign a world class striker too, they really could be a challenge for the title. I think they are a year or so off that unless they sign another 4-5 real quality players and you can't put that past them but I am interested to hear other peoples thoughts as to where you think they will finish and what you think of their spending power.

It doesn't matter who Man City buy as it's down to whether they can play as a team or not. I personally don't think they have the right manager in place to get them to play as a team for the whole season so can't see them getting into the Champions League again.
I think it's fair to say that Liverpool are out of top clubs in the Premiership and Man U need to hope Rooney gets his form back for the start of the season. I reckon Chelsea will win the league, with Spurs, Man U and Man City battling for Second, Third and Fourth. Then there'll be a bit of a points gap between those teams and Arsenal who will comfortably secure fifth.
Arsenal 5th? Fair play, that's a big shout. I actually think they will start in a healthier position than the last 3-4 seasons. They have been crying out for a striker and they now have Chamamk, I know there's no guarentee that he will perform but chances are he'll do better there than most teams. They look to be signing that Young CB from France so I think that they will get atleast 4th but they will push Man City for it.
With the way the top clubs in the Prem are going, with United heavily reliant on Rooney, Wenger continuing to be stubborn and as a Chelsea fan i'm concerned that we have let Ballack, J.Cole and Deco leave and are yet to sign any replacememts, City may well have a chance of competing for the title, Silva is a quality signing, however disagree about Yaya Toure, not sure that he will improve the current squad as they already have De Jong and Barry, but overall i think they will finish 4th and if Chelsea do sign 1 or 2 good players we can retain our title.
Man Utd will win. Rooney and Hernandez will be so good.
Man Utd Chelsea Man City Arsenal
Man City need me!

to be honest i hope that city finish out of the european places. This is nothing against their fans who are fantastic but it was bad enough when roman abramovic took over at chelsea and how he helped to ruin english football further with the stupid money he threw at players but COME ON yaya toure is a holding midfielder, city already have barry, de jong and vieira who can play that role so it is blatantly getting beyond a joke. Im a West Brom fan and we will never be able to catch the top clubs we know that but at least it was exciting when you had at least 4 teams (i.e chelsea, united, liverpool and arsenal) who could potentially win the league but the way city are spending money nobody will be able to sign anybody without city outbidding them its a joke. The Yanks may not be great when it comes to our beautiful game but the salary cap they have in the MLS is one of the best ideas in football. After that rant i will say though to be honest as much as i dont want them to city will finish in the top 3 this season and will win the prem within a couple of years
