Real Madrid

I would like to make a formal application for the vacant Real Madrid job.

I have spent 4 seasons at Real Sociedad following a debut season at Catania, but feel an opportunity to apply for the Madrid job is to good to let go without throwing my name into the hat.

Whilst I have enjoyed my time at Sociedad and the good start to the season makes this a very difficult decision I have come to the conclusion that to further my professional development and achieve my goals, the opportunity to work at one of the biggest names in football can not be overlooked.

My achievements to date include two promotions via the play offs, survival last season in a very tough division whilst gaining entry to Europe. Survival being achieved when the club were amongst one of the favourites to be relegated.

My intention is to build the team around arguably the worlds best striker and to strike the balance between planning for the future and bringing in the experience and talent required to challenge for honours in what is a very competitive league.

There is obviously a lot of work required to challenge for the title again but given the opportunity I believe I will be the right man to help the club move forward and provide the success the fans and board demand

Regards,
Louis Galeozzie

I would like to be considered for the Real Madrid job.

I spent the first three seasons at Manchester United winning the FA cup and finishing second to Chelsea on each occasion. As has been proved up until last season, getting ahead of Chelsea is near impossible. In that time I bought a number of young players who are now flourishing at the club such as Caturano and Gago.

After leaving Man Utd I joined Levante and lead them to La Liga in my first season via automatic promotion. Unfortunately, in the following season I was unable to keep them in the top league. I would have stayed but was offered the position at Roma with a target of reaching Serie A.

This was achieved at the first time of asking and in that time I have been able to bring the likes of David Villa, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Djordje Rakic to the club. I was able to keep Roma in Serie A and qualified for the UEFA cup.

I would relish the challenge at Real Madrid and, although Wayne Rooney is going to Liverpool, I am confident that I can get them to where they should be which is challenging for all competitions.

Thanks

Iain

Dear Real Madrid board

I would officially like to put my name forward to fill the vacancy left by the sacking of Mr Hanton. I feel that I could get real back to challenging for the top prizes in football.

I have been a football manager for 8 years now and have had a mix of good times and a few bad times

I started my journey in football management at Norwich City. I was able to take these up in my first season through the play offs. After taking them up I was faced with the very hard job of keeping them in the championship a task that not many give me a chance of achieving and after losing my first 10 games it looked likely that I would be going straight back down. But a totally different second half of the season saw Norwich only lose 1 game and achieve a very respectful 8th position. With this finish I was offered the chance to take over at Real Betis and at the time I thought it was too good of an offer to turn down.

At Betis I didnt have a very good time and failed to finish my first season with them getting sacked 3 games before the end. This I have to admit was a real low point of my career and I thought about giving up being a football manager altogether. But out of the blue I had a job offer from Real Murcia.

Murcia were a club that were going through a real tough time they hadnt won a game in over two years and had finished bottom of the league 3 seasons in a row. There were a few people who thought I was silly taking them over but I saw it as a good challenge and a chance to start that fire that I felt when I took over at Norwich.

Our first game I was able to lead the club to a historic win over Deportivo and we finished the season by drawing the last game. The next season we were able to build on this and I was able to lead Murcia to 5th in the table. With the season coming to an end and a run in the Play-offs about to start a job became available that suited me and give me a chance to return to England that job was to take over at Sunderland.

At Sunderland they had gone through a few years of underachieving the fans and the board wanted them to get out of league 1 and I thought I was the man to take them out of there. Unfortunately I was unable to get them promoted at the first chance as I didnt have long to get my team together but I was able to get them to the Play-off final. In my second season with Sunderland I took them up as champions I feel that me and my team showed a lot of grit to grind out the results needed to win the league. The next season was another successful season of sorts even though I was unable to take them strait up to the Premiership I did manage to get them to another Play-off final. A few days after the final I got a job offer to return to Spain and manage Recreativo Huelva.

I took the job at Huelva as I still feel I had something to prove in Spain as a newly promoted side not many give us a chance of doing anything that season but we were able to finish in 7th position and qualify for the new European trophy.

With very little investment in the side this season I feel my job has become ten times harder than what it was. I would like the Recreativo board know that if I fail to get the job at Madrid I am happy to continue as manager and try my hardest to achieve the goals that were set out for me.
I feel that I can do very well at real having never had a chance at a big club I think that I could handle the pressure of life at Real and deliver the results that the chairman would like
Thank you for your time

Yours

Dale Price

I would like to apply for the vacant position at Real Madrid

Experience

Preston North End

Season one - I inherited a club who had only just come out of administration and had been stripped of its good players to clear the clubs debts. Despite having an unbalanced squad and no investment I managed to make a number of good signings both on permanent deals and on loan. We finished the season reaching the playoff  finals beating Sunderland the pre season favourites to be champions in the semi - finals

Real Mallorca

Season two  -I  took over a team who had just been relegated from LaLigue finishing bottom with only one win. I was asked by the board to achieve immediate promotion back to the top flight. Despite tough competition from a number of clubs particularly aLevanteside who had been given substantial financial backing we finished the season as champions also reaching thequarterfinals of the domestic cup only narrowly losing to Barcelona

Season three -This season saw the club return to LaLigue. Having massively struggled the last time they were in the top flight the board requested that I ensure the club retained there top flight status. After a difficult first half of the season  performances picked up in the second half of the season with the club avoiding relegation by finishing 9th.

Season four- This season we built on last seasons performance. I spent most of the season battling it out in for a top six spot just narrowly missing out on, finishing seventh on goal difference. The club steered well clear of the relegation battle all season and finished the season off by reaching and narrowly losing in the Spanish Domesctic cup final.

Liverpool

Season five - This season saw me take over an ageing Liverpool team. I was set the target of returning the club back to European football. After battling it out with all season I have managed to drastically reduce the average age of the team from over 30 to 26 whilst still finish in the top 6th and qualifying for Europe.

Strengths

-  I have a proven track record in the transfer market managing to attract top players to both clubs I have managed with little to no investment.

- I have proved record of meeting targets and have never failed to meet a target set at Mallorca.

- I have four years experience managing on the game and have built a good number of contacts in the game, enjoying strong links to a number of clubs.

Plan at Real Madrid

This the 2nd time I have applied for the job at Real and have very definite plans of what I would like to achieve at Madrid.

Short term aim is to take Real Madrid back to top three in Spain

Long term the aim is to reduce the age of the squad. I think its important that there isn't a large number of changes straight away and that any changes are made in a sensible fashion  to ensure the club remain a leading club in Europe competing for all the top honors in the game

I would also be looking to improve the clubs infrastructure including investment in both the youth set up and stadium capacity.

I would like to formally apply for the vacant position of Manager at Real Madrid FC

This was not an easy decision to come to as loyalty appears to be an ever dwindling commodity these days and I have felt some unease to be potentially leaving behind all the foundation work at Racing Santander - especially as the fans and chairman have been welcoming and supportive

Having also missed out on promotion last season by such a small margin - I feel compelled to get them to La Liga as vindication of all the work playing above their station. Ironically - it is this aspect that made me finally decide to apply for the Madrid job - as I feel the bedrocks are there for the coaching staff to gain promotion this season - so the timing of Real becoming vacant perhaps might be good for both parties. I have every faith that promotion can be achieved by the staff I leave behind without the need for a new manager to come in

I would hope that fans of Racing at least understand my application to Real, even if they do not welcome it. Clubs that are truly special to do come along very often

As for my application to Madrid - I have some very definite ideas of how to quickly return Real to the summit of Spanish football - a position they should always be at due to a wonderful heritage and tradition

It would be an honour to lead them to glories, and I would look to add to Chris's hard work in the retention of key youth players while looking to add some steel and class in key areas to assault weaknesses in the current top 3 teams in Spain

It will not be easy - but I will endeavour to galvanise the players to the same ideals I stand by - hard work, application, the right decisions at the right time - and from that - with an added touch of Real magic - I feel trophies will come

I look forward to hearing from the Real Board of Directors

Should my application to Real prove unsuccessful in light of strong candidates for the role, I would be happy to continue at Racing and secure promotion, but as mentioned, loyalty is a precious commodity in football and I would not begrudge my current chairman any decision he made. It would be hypocritical to do otherwise.

Dear Madrid Board of Directors

With regret - I will have to redact my application for the vacant role of manager. I have today accepted an offer elsewhere from a good friend and it truly was an offer too good to turn down

I wish you luck in your search and have no doubt you will find a high calibre of manager to hopefully steer the club to glories in the coming seasons

I would also like to say a huge thank you to the executive team and fans at Racing for my time at the club - it has genuinely been a pleasure to be a part of bigger things to come. An announcement will be forthcoming regarding timescales shortly

Many thanks

Simon
