Rob Holden - Charlton stormed to success in the second half of the season with an 8 game winning streak to see them clinch the league top spot away from Reading who had occuppied it for so long. They also reached Round 3 of the English Cup before being knocked out by finalists Arsenal.
Alex Wilson - Portsmouth were a team in decay at the start of this season before appointing their new manager. Since then an impressive run of 10 wins, an unbeaten run of 13 games, saw them jump from near the bottom of the league through the play-off places and with just weeks to go into the 2nd automatic spot.
Thomas Barry - Wolves continued to be an up and down team every few seasons as one of the bottom half teams last season, they jumped up to third this year under their manager. The arrival of a number of good youth academy players spurred them on putting together a 14 unbeaten run early in the season before fading away in the run in. They will be hoping for success now in the play-offs this week. They also reached Round 2 of the Cup.
