Working through the pile of emails in my inbox I've come across a growing issue and feel the need to post here for people to see and hopefully it will solve it for the future.
Since the end of season update (a week ago) I've had over 150 emails regarding transfers, stadium settings for the new season, and extensions for club shops or youth academy. Obviously this is a huge amount to handle, add to that I'm not sat at home 24/7 able to reply to them and the few hours after work on weekdays I do have, this week, has gone on replying to some emails, and finishing off elements of the website update such as new coding for the Final Score for this season. But its the fact I'm not replying instantly that is causing people to multi-email me. I'll have 1 email say on Monday AM with a bid, another Monday PM with a bid, another Tuesday AM with a bid, then by Tuesday PM I'll have a 4th email combining all bids and asking for an update... if you have 150 emails ahead of you in the queue chances are between Monday AM and Tuesday PM I won't have read your 1st email, so by multi-emailing after, you're just clogging up the inbox, making it take longer for me to get back to people, and as such, causing others to do exactly the same thing.
It also makes it hard replying, as I have to search through to see if you might have updated your bid since the initial email, before I reply to avoid wasting time on a bid that may have changed/been cancelled. This obviously doesn't apply to everyone, but the people it does apply to are causing the others to have to wait days longer for a reply.
Hopefully pointing out the sheer number of emails and bids I have to deal with, will get people to be a bit more collective when bidding on multiple players putting it all in 1 email, and a bit more patient when waiting for a reply - there is a queue, multi-emails won't speed up a reply.
I'm aware there is bidding for Fiorentina players, but I will attempt to reply to every offer either letting you know you're not top bidder or that its been accepted but again multi-emailing doesn't help it just makes it harder to pick out the highest bidders and inform the rest they're not winning at present.
rich, perhaps you could do with some help? maybe even if its just with clubs in administration as i imagine this is where most of the problems come from.
maybe next time a club goes into admin, everyone who wants to buy their players can email someone else and all you have to do is ok the three transfers at the end of the week
People could email the bids to me, I could bin any that are on players I want and then send the other top bids on to Richard, which would reduce the list considerably. This would obviously be extra work but I would be happy to do it if it helps!!!!!
