The new team will replace them ready for a week Friday (week 5).
The new team will take over their points score, results against Fulham will still count. The results can't be erased as the replacement team will be picking up the remaining fixtures, and as such won't have time in the season to play the teams scheduled in weeks 1-3, so those results must stand.
Please vote for your choice for the replacement. Voting will be short to allow their replacement to be added mid-week so you only have a few days to vote (namely the weekend!!)
The list of options is all teams named in the other Fulham thread. If you want to vote for another team you can post that teams name in this thread, but be aware teams not on the list are unlikely to score more than 1 or 2 votes, these listed teams were the previously discussed teams so obviously have some backing and stand a chance.
Voted for Stoke as it's only fair as they are the highest placed team not in the game and there in the cup final. Who suggested FC United LoL, they would surely have to be rubbish!
Blackpool won. The Fulham players will hang their boots up as there wasn't the slightest bit of interest in them for ages while they were unmanaged so their spaces will just be taken by Blackpool players.
If Swansea had got in, they would have been without the likes of Sinclair (already in the game) and the Chelsea loan players (in Chelsea's pool/academy list). If Stoke had got in, they would have been missing some of their players who have joined in real life recently, because they would have been in FA at other teams when the game started. Blackpool or Ipswich (or FC United) were the teams who would be able to offer a full strength squad coming into the game, so not a bad decision.
I wanted to see Cardiff get promoted, but you gotta admit they always bottle it when it counts, now I think Swansea will have a better chance, unless QPR get docked points. Would have been nice to see a welsh derby in the prem.
