Anyone else getting a Malware warning when using Mac / Safari?

Howdy Gents

Anyone else getting a malware warning popup when trying to go on any Activeboard message board? Im using a 2011 Imac running OSX and Safari - and its rare to ever get spyware / malware warnings - but though id check to see if its a common thing or not?

Cheers

Simon

It appears to be mostly a google crome problem, and is linked to the web browser not liking ads (sparklit who host this forum have an ad banner at the top of the page). If you use a different browser the problem shouldn't appear - it doesn't for me.

Richard.

If it is an ad they loop them, so you'll get it sometimes and not others when you try to open the page.

I've lodged the problem with the hosts, but like I say if you google it others have come across it before, mainly on Crome, and a lot of their solutions appear to just be change browser. I'll let you know what the hosts say when I get a reply.

Richard.

Hi Richard,

The domain is now clear again and we're working on a more permanent solution, likely involving some combination of attempting to scan every new ad created and additional ad serving domains.

We'll be sending out an email with more information later on.

Let me know if you have any questions or problems!

Best regards,
