I have to admit that I find myself agreeing with Pricey and his comment about a transfer bid.
He waited so long for a reply he looked elsewhere.
I do send a few offers out as it is the only real way for me to improve my chances at any success. The number of replies I am getting is causing concern. I thought that buying and selling was part of the game.
It only takes a minute to say no! I always reply, and I can name managers who do the same.
I think I have only had two replies from 9 enquiries in the past 5 weeks.
There is a danger of switching people off. This is also happening with the number of people posting on the Sports Page. If there are only two of you posting, what is the point?
I always try and reply to offers sent but I guess some people just prefer not to and others do reply but are not online as often so it takes longer. I find you get a good idea of who does and doesn't etc eventually and I just gauge the amount of time I wait for a response depending on who the deal is with.
As for posting on here I don't do it as often as I used to but I find that the posting quota is usually kept up by Pricey who is alwayswilling to like to post on anything and everything - abit like a dog marking out his territory in the park
People who I regularly deal with email me and get fast replies. If it is urgent why send a PM most people will check their inbox on an email much more than logging in here
I dont bother with some managers because they always expect silly prices
There are some messages I will ignore but those are the managers who dont listen. They offer a player I say I dont want and keep offering him or they ask for a player I say isnt for sale and keep offering. That just annoys me

I never get emailed when I get a pm so that isnt true
I think its common courtesy not to try and harrass a deal out of somebody if they have said no to a transfer in or out. I can see how some of you take advantage of new managers

Lack of replies to enquiries has and always will be a problem on this game. I think people should have the courtesy to reply - obviously though some people log on here or check emails more often than others.
I do know that it can be frustrating when you dont hear back from people though.
I will always reply to any offers that are made. It takes literally no time to just say no and i struggle to understand why people don't reply if i'm honest. It's frustrating if you have a player in mind and you have to wait for a reply as this then holds up any other offers you might be willing to make on other players.
