Another poor result for Siena will not please Terry Manifold in his quest for direct promotion this season.
PRESS.
Things are not looking very good are they?
Terry.
No I can't say I am happy tonight. We do have a few problems and one of them is there is a lot happening on the transfer scene and we are not getting the time to settle. Since the start of the season players have been coming and going. This week we will see Amedeo Calliari coming in an exchange deal for Javi Martinez. This should give us a little more flair on the left wing. Wes Morgan will unfortunately be leaving but sometimes you have to do these things to create movement.
PRESS.
How many more changes are you going to make?
Terry.
Yes we are very fortunate to be able to announce the loan of David Alonso from Villarreal for a full season. Dave, Villarreal's manager, leapt to my assistance after a failed loan deal. I am really very lucky to work with managers like Dave who genuinely want to help if they can. Next week we have a swap deal organised that will see an additional striker join us to rotate with Smith and Forestieri.
PRESS.
Thats a lot of movement in a short time?
Terry.
It is and it does take time to absorb that type of change. We have also had to play the three demoted teams in the first four weeks of the season. That hasn't given me any time at all to be able to strengthen the side. After that we hope we can mould the much improved team together and start the push for the top.

Bolton management unhappy with Siena press comments.
Interesting news has arose from across Europe that Bolton manager Ashley Davies has led investigations into why a comment was made from Siena manager Terry Manifold.
After a light training session, Davies was catching up on the Serie B club press conference where, manager Terry Manifold had said " Dave, Villarreal's manager, leapt to my assistance after a failed loan deal. " Speaking about new loanee David Alonso who was orginally set to join Bolton.
" Ive messaged Terry as to why it was said that it was a failed deal, the player was originally coming to me but manager Dave had asked if I would like to cancel the deal, as I had signed extra quality players and we both seen it as his player helping someone else, my response was that even though I had signed them players, their was no way I was going to back out of any deal.. as I wait for clarification, I dont see this as starting trouble, but I dont like to see my named tarnished.
