Talking of stupid newbies, i cant find a link anywhere to take me back to the FA home page where the teams and everything are. Am i being blind or is there no link at present?

There isn't a link on these boards to the home page. You could save the home page to your favourites or open the message board in a new window. I'll look into sticking a link on here shortly.

OK brilliant! One other question, is there any way of looking at the team that was picked for the last game? as a new manager i want to see where the club is going wrong and try to improve things. Is it possible to view any results other than the latest ones?

I noticed that when you look at the squad lists after they are updated after each round of games - the top squad tends to be the team that played the last game (this can be affected by having smaller numbers of players i assume and comings and goings at the club)

pretty decent starting point for seeing what team or at least what players are playing or not

1) The 11 players in the team on the squad sheet (not those below the reserves line) are almost always the last 11 people selected. The only exception is if a player who was picked was also then sold that same week. If thats the case he'll be replaced by a same position player if ones available.

2) The FA site only stores the last set of league, cup, and European results. If your teams involved in all three competitions you could see results for three games, but most will only be able to see their last league game as they won't be involved in the cups. I know new managers might want to see all the games so they can track back to games before they joined, but in having this on the game it would slow the loading times down and it was generally thought people would prefer a faster site to more data as most people wouldn't use the old results section. You could always ask around and see if the managers in your league can remember who you won/lost against? You've only missed a few weeks this season.

Yes that is a help thankyou. I see i lost in the cup as i'm not in the next round but i dont see the result, is it shown anywhere?
