INACTIVE MANAGERS

it has recently came to my attention just how inactive some managers are - I know I do not post messages every 5 minutes but I do reply to all emails about offers even if it is just to say no thanks

Football Academy Evolution is a play by mail game that needs the involvement of all the managers, It must be quite boring just sending in a team sheet everyweek - and ignoring emails about possible transfers in my opinion it is just rude -  its part of being involved in the game.

In the last 12 weeks I have tried to contact a few managers as I expect a few people have - so as like on the failed transfer pages thought i would post some managers names that have (in my opinion) not been involved or not bothered to reply!!!!

Peter O'Connell - Everton
Walter Hsu - Birmingham
Nik Skilton - Charlton
Thomas Gorst - Empoli
Philip Derry - Parma
Matthew Pasukinis - Sampdoria
Colin Smith - Deportivo
William Hsu - Osasuna
Callum Ward - Real Betis

I would have also named the Roma Manager but notice s/he has now been removed

There might have been 1 or 2 more from Italian Serie B but could not get the page to load.

I know some managers might be away for a week or 2 but some I know have never replied in the 12 weeks FAE has been running

how about a few of the above come out and explain why they dont reply to emails?

If you are still involved then come forward and be heard

Peter O'Connell - Everton - fairly new to the game
Walter Hsu - Birmingham - always sends in a team sheet
Nik Skilton - Charlton - has missed the last 2 games but he attends the same uni as myself and I've just gone back and have no home internet yet so this could be the same for him.
Thomas Gorst - Empoli - new manager
Philip Derry - Parma - fairly new manager
Colin Smith - Deportivo - fairly new manager
William Hsu - Osasuna - always sends in a team sheet
Callum Ward - Real Betis - new manager

New managers can take a few weeks to get involved. Remember managers who have been playing this game for years are used to its size and variety of rules. New managers have to feel they understand everything before they get involved with teams or transfers. I bet a lot of the active managers who jumped into the transfer market sold at least one good player and later regretted the price they got

Also, the messageboard isn't required as long as they have an account and therefore the option to use it, they don't have to post and therefore might not even look on here... which would make the constant posts like this that seem to appear every couple of weeks, pointless.

Richard.

Many Thanks for clearing a few of the non replying managers up - It just gets frustrating when contacting managers over a possible deal especially if another manager is waiting on a reply as well,
I know I have been involved a long time and always try to welcome new managers to the game just to say hi, or offer advice or tips about not selling to soon etc, this is a game that managers play at their own level of intensity. so appologise if my remarks were taken as a swipe.

My own fault for agreeing to deals before sorting out replacements.

William and Walter Hsu haven't actually made a transfer for a few seasons now, if you take into account the old game as well. There's a good reliance on home grown talent there then!! So you shouldn't be surprised you can't buy their players.

Richard.
