I think the Gold version comes out at the end of december

its a 600mb download so i only just finished downloading it now - ill give it a whirl after work and let you all know how it is

Been playing this for a few hours now and its bloody good

improvements ive noticed so far.....

1. the game engine is soooo much quicker than before - in terms of game setup and the general running speed of the game

2. the new interfact is great and theyre are some clever links and setup pages to make things a bit easier.

3. added a lot of new features. nothing major, but the training now makes much more sense, and silly things like you can reject loan offers without having to open the offer make it all that much more streamlined

4. the match engine looks much more authentic and the way the game flows - its almost like watching the real thing - this is what has impressed me the most. the way the ball is spread around the pitch is so much better - and players like fabregas really look like they are the same player (Even if they are only a dot lol!)

5. tactics. on a match day it is now a lot easier to setup specific man marking of players etc - as it has been added to the teamtalk optiion before the game

all in all - a lot more of an advancement than 2007 was - and think its damn good personally

roll on the full version!!

I think the only limitation is that the game is restricted to 6 months / one full season

thats what they did with last years demo - i just cant remember how long it lasted

Ive just gone past christmas though!

Its just a rumour at the moment - but a friend of mine works in the testing department for SI Games and the original plan was to release a special edition version in late december or january - but he doesnt have many other details at the mo

ill update you if i hear anything

Finished it last night - and the demo runs upto game 19 (premiership) around January

cant wait..................!

If Norwich are top of the Championship there are obviously some bugs in the programme that they haven't managed to iron out yet!!!!!

I got mumsy to get it for me yesterday.

it did only come out today - but pre-orders were delivered as quick as tuesday for some people

and you could download it from last monday (not that i condone that sort of thing...............................!)
