Wow, what a result. What else can I say ... what a result!
Allan
PS That fan that ran on at the end hardly touched Dida. He tapped him on the chest and Dida played on it. However I hope he hasn't cost us this memorable win.
AC Milan dont wont loging a complaint so a think yous could be of the hook, hope yous are, yous deserved to win in the end,it just goes to show that scottish football is moving forward and not backwards,we have more scottish players in both old firm teams than i have saw in years and i think thats whats helping both old firms this year.
hopefully mate, Not just the old firm mate English Premier teams seem to have at least 1 Scottish player in thier ranks or they are now looking at Scottish football for players because the quality has risen so quickly over recent years. I do hope Celtic just get a fine and Dida also for making such show of himself. Anyway incedent aside come on the Old Firm. And well done to All the English sides (Liverpool aside - unlucky)
Hopefully Si mate the fan has give himself into the police and this may go in Celtics favour, also Milan aren't making too much of it so we'll just need to wait see
I watched the game but to see it in slow motion it makes it look even worse.............!
Remember the world cup in Japan when a brazilian player did the same at a corner flag when the ball was kicked at him (could have been Ronaldo maybe? cant remember)
the ball hits him in the stomach, he waits 3 seconds and falls down in agony clutching his head?
it was just as bad - and just as stupid...............................
simon i think you're on about rivaldo against turkey he got hit in the stomach clucting his face worst thing was the assistant linesman was right next to it and should have seen it was a dive
As abit of a Blackburn fan I can tell you that it was Hakan Unsal (Blackburn Rovers player at the time) that did that. They still show it on the beginning of "They think it's all over" these days coz it was so stupi. Unsal actually got sent off for it too which makes it worse. Saying that mind, Rivaldo was banned for two games aswell
Celtic got of a little lightly, nice that uefa let them get away with it but a thought the fine should of been alot more personaly but fair play, hope we can all just get on and enjoy the rest of the scottish teams play now
