I think a few things are taken into account mate. It's things like Final league position, cup runs, promotion/relegation and then whatever you have left they take the years wages out and that's what your left with.
I think Rich said that some clubs might even make a loss so won't have any money at all
If you're at a low club, expect to make a loss. Especially if you've brought in Premiership standard players and don't make promotion, as you'll be paying top wack for wages but have no prize money.
Some clubs may invest extra funds but thats really only for specialist cases, if a clubs in a crisis.
That is a very valid point Craig and I would be interested in Richards reply on this. I think it will be yourself who pays the wages but I would also like to ask Richard if next season it would be possible to bring in clauses in the loans. I know it has been brought up in other posts but my thought is for my feeder club. I would be willing to forgo some of the expense he has to pay as he is helping me and vice versa so to the have him pay a whack on wages would only dent his own chances of improving his side.
What I propose is say I agree to still paying 25% of the wages or something along these lines. However if I were to loan to someone else but not my feeder club I would be looking for them to pay 100% of the wages thus meaning my feeder club is getting some benefit out of being affiliated with me.
Also could we get a fee inplace for long loans as they are risky for us. Say for example someone wants to loan one of my better players like Bolton did at the start with Messi, if they really want him then maybe if agreed by both parties I could ask for £100,000 for letting a big name go to his club. (this could spark a huge debate but it would also mean more people link up with each other to get away from having to pay thus making the game a little more social - not that it isn't already)
Just a thought and it may already have been brought up
What will do the damage to small clubs pockets are deals such as Mari to Sheffield Wednesday, Pique to Leicester etc. Where as in comparison if you take say Norwich, Healy seems to be their top buy and he was bought from League One and will be on significantly lower wages.
The idea is that clubs involved in a feeder deal, the loaning club is having to pay but getting their player games at no cost to their own team, which seemed a fair scenario?
I was also talking to someone today about this feeder idea and I'm pleased with it's success. If you notice theres virtually no mention of this in the rules, because it was never my intention to include it. It's simply grown after one pair did so well from the idea that others followed on. It's good because it's almost totally being self regulated by yourselves keeping things in check. Features like that which improve the game play and take none of my time are ideal!!
Ok cheers for clarifying that up Rich. Looks as though maybe i will have to start releasing some players then, or even try to sell a few that i dont want (if anyone is willing to buy them lol).
Would Pique really be on that much money yet though Rich? He's only 21 and hasn't got the best stats - yet. This was one of the reasons why I wanted him because he was a superstar yet but could either get me big bucks in the future or help me gain promotions.
