I thought i read somewhere that Richard woud be doing this towards the end of the season?

Clubs without managers will be headhunting managers as the season winds down i think

Cant remember which thread it was - but it was on one of them

cheers

Comments from Rich on another thread:

There are various managers not mentioned above who I think have done extremely well with what they have available to them (this is the important thing used to measure managers in the most part), and although they haven't been mentioned, they'll have media about them or job offers from higher teams in the near future - as the season comes to an end clubs will start to head hunt some managers and this avoids you upsetting fans by applying to vacant positions how everyone has been doing so far.

Richard.

Yes, managers who do well with small clubs (and therefore small ambitions) generally get rewarded by big clubs chasing them but this is normally towards the end of the season hence no one has yet - although the first head hunting offer went out today actually!!

The advantage is that if a club chases you and you turn them down the fans will like you more, if you apply for a vacant position and don't get it they'll like you less.

Richard.

PS. good managers at small clubs generally won't be approached while they stand a chance at going up which is why offers come later in the season.
