So far, FA can confirm the engine has already been adapted ready for the new season to allow new tactical features for managers to utilise. The old four will be slightly altered to allow the new ones to fit in although not majorly. Tactics available to managers will be; Counter, Wingers, Possession, Distance Shooting, Long Ball, Wing Backs, Defend.
Also FA is going to look into introducing physical assistants for managers. Like players these will have stats which can effect a range of things, current possibilities being; finance management (lower effects of team wages), player training (bonus to player experience gained), and fitness training (slows loss of fitness). As with real life managers will be allowed to trade assistants and some may be given the chance to take their assistants with them when they accept a job offer. This will hopefully be finished off in time.
Richard.

What I would suggest tho is something to help improve activity. ie some reward for the managers who often reply to messages, so media/post on the MB as these people really keep the game going in my view.

But its not really Richard's perogative to reward or punish each managers effort is it. We are all given the same things when we join up and the same access to media, message boards etc
Its entirely up to us how much we might use these things, some people more than others, some not - but you could argue what a strange precedent to have to encourage people to take more interest when it is free to join and keep playing and we should be doing it anyway as we enjoy it - or we wouldnt have signed up for it in the first place!
I think it is a shame sometimes that it is the same old charecters that are more active and put more media in - but that doesnt make it worse - and it creates a stronger game for the managers that do actively participate. And in the old game too - the media rivally between managers that kept on sending it in was some of the greatest stuff in the game
dont forget the new FA is still in its relative infancy and as more managers settle in more there should be an upturn in regular "hard core" FA members
