Ideas welcomed
(Preview)
This is a place for managers to have their say on shaping the game. FA prides itself on catering to what the gamer wants and has had many things included that came from players on the game including the new game title. If you have ideas on improving the game, whether it's from computer games you've played...

New Years Changes
(Preview)
Some stuff is being moved around, redesigned etc on the home site. Just be aware things you're after might be moved, and it'll be done in stages so some buttons might not work to begin with, they're just there as the foundations for later changes that are coming (for example the new home page has I think t...

Managers Badges
(Preview)
From Season 10 Updates thread: "FA Coaching Badges are the one feature no one will see initially. A window will open each season briefly giving managers the chance to take a test. To take the test they can either pay using their manager wages or using a Football Kit Token they have either won in a si...

Season 10 Updates
(Preview)
Season 10 has required some in depth work, more than recent seasons it feels. Rather than working on the aesthetics of parts of the game I have gone back into the coding and adjusted parts of the match engine. You all need to be aware of this as you may see slight changes to the choices you make now to what yo...

Demo Version
(Preview)
Due to significant work being done on the match engine to get the game ready for season 10 and to include a number of the new upgrades, I'm likely to want to test run a couple of matches to see how it works. This will mean I will need a few managers to test run the demo at some stage this week. The demo will work l...

Font
(Preview)
I'm looking to make the tables narrower for two reasons, firstly to make viewing stats easier for you all and secondly, to allow me to add the extra couple of columns needed for other upgrades coming in for next season. One change potentially is the text font but I need to check first because some people...

Meet your chairman
(Preview)
The first update is in the process of being installed into the game right now, save waiting for the end of the season. You will notice the job offer email will have changed slightly if you recieve one. If the board approach you over a new contract you will be able to see your chairman, and gage his mood from...

Form and Morale
(Preview)
There are a number of possible changes in the near future that could take place, and I thought I'd put some of them out one here and see what people thought, and see if people developed the ideas further. Feel free to leave comments as well as voting. On this one we currently have Av. Form. Whether people u...

Tactical additions?
(Preview)
At the moment the current system has 3 blank spaces in the tactics area. We're using 3/6 of those spaces for the tactics currently used in the game. Are there any things managers would like added? I do think that the extra 2 tactics that were added (philosophy and marking) have been successful in that it...

Loan information
(Preview)
Is there anyway of having a section on the teamsheet that states how many players that team have out on loan? I know as manager of the team we should know but its easy to lose count and if a new manager came in they would not know. Thanks

Loans (Increase spaces)
(Preview)
I know this has been suggested before (in 2009), but since the game has developed I think there may be more reason to increase the loan spaces. After doing a search I noticed a thread about it in 2009 and the reason it wasn't implemented was due to managers moving mid-season: The reason this hasn...

Scouting
(Preview)
It's been discussed before but no one has come up with a positive change that is workable but I'm bringing it up again. After each scouting window for a few seasons now I get people moaning about this or that. I'm happy for the scouting to remain a high pressure part of the game, but I have no interest in any...

Administration
(Preview)
As it's being discussed elsewhere; administration has never been a lunchtime deadline. I've purposely never put a deadline on it for this reason... the previous system was email based, and I would email the winning bidder late on to make sure teams didn't miss out on extra time for bids to come in. The...

Fixtures/Results
(Preview)
Not sure how easy it is do but time permitting I think it would be good idea if after each weeks games the fixture list could be updated with the weeks results alongside. Countdown on administration/academy bids?
(Preview)
I might be the only one complaining about this maybe because im the only one playing outside the UK, but i never seem to get to the forum on time for placing bids, and maybe thats because we are about 8 hrs apart, so deadlines are tough on me. I was wondering if we could get a countdown to when the bid closes...

Manager of the Month
(Preview)
Nothing big, but I've managed to finish off some coding to keep track of month by month performances for every team in the game. This will hopefully make it short and easy to do a manager of the month for each division, so as long as when I do my first run at it, it works all fine, then that should become a regu...

Looking at letting shirt design become a little more free-form next season. If this happens there will be a "kit of the season" with the top 3 gaining rewards. Depending on the number of entrants, there might be a competition for each country but we'll see... I'm debating 2 options, but may...

Chairman Transfer Policy Settings
(Preview)
As of week 17 onwards Chairmen in FA will now have extended rules to work under. The new rules state that youth academy construction must happen by week 5 of any given season to apply for that season, just the same as stadium construcion and club shop expansions. Effort?
(Preview)
With the new fitness system already providing managers with new challenges in "management" of their squads, I was wondering if people would want an effort choice on the team sheet form. It would be a drop down along with the other tactics. It could give a manager the chance to go 100% effort...
