Due to significant work being done on the match engine to get the game ready for season 10 and to include a number of the new upgrades, I'm likely to want to test run a couple of matches to see how it works. This will mean I will need a few managers to test run the demo at some stage this week.
The demo will work like this:
When I have a demo version set up I will post here asking for a number of volunteers.
AFTER I post asking for volunteers, if you're around for an hour or so, you can reply here putting your name forward.
I will then contact you with the links etc for the demo version running.
You would only be asked to submit a team from one of the demo teams (not necessarily your own game team).
I would show you your score from the demo match and you'd have a chance to email back with any extra feedback you might have.
Please don't post interest NOW, as if I run a demo tomorrow evening I will need volunteers on at that time, not now. This first post is warning so people can keep an eye out if they're interested.
Ok guys I'm looking for some volunteers to dummy run the demo version of the engine with some of the key upgrades in.
You'll need to be around tomorrow (Thursday) between 6pm and 8pm (not necessarily for the full 2 hours, but able to check emails through that time etc).
At about 6pm tomorrow I'll email managers who have registered interest here with a link to the demo site and which team in the demo they will pick a team for. You'll then need to copy and paste a form from the link into an email, and fill it in with your team selection (as the automatic "submit team sheet" form isn't linked up yet so won't have the new bits on it, hence you'll need to email it in). Full instructions will be on the demo site so you can read through them tomorrow.
This helps me see how people view the new sections, and how the new parts to the engine work under manager use.
I'd also appreciate any comments people might have about the new bits when they see them.
I'll make sure all managers get to see the results of their selections.
