Before everyone emails me with the same question I'll explain briefly here.
The improvement works on an experience basis, with this being season 1 no one had prior experience so they all started at 0. Players who did well last season will carry the experience gained over into this season where this seasons experience will be added to that, and so on. So there were relatively few improvements this season just because no one had any experience to start with.
So although looking at it two players haven't improved, one may be 1 experience point away from improving while the other may be a lot more. Bare this in mind before you become too disillusioned with the talent system.
