to reach the playoffs again would be good, but i have to be better in the transfer market, and i have been a lot quicker off the mark this season. hopefully it will pay divedends
Mine is consolodation. I had a good season this year finishing just outside the playoffs. A few loans early on and i could just get there. But my first 4 games are very hard, especially without feeder club loan players. Also i would like to strengthen a lot more which i have started to do so i wont have to rely so much on feeder club.Oh yeh and lastly im trying to build a younger side that will keep me more stable for the future
My hopes for Leicester is that we continue to progress and keep improving. We had a decent season last year by reaching the playoffs so this season I will be hoping to go one further by either gaining automatic promotion or by winning the playoffs.
I think it's important for us as a club to keep moving forward so that the momentum takes us up into the Championship and beyond (in my best buzz lightyear voice).
Hopefully with the backing of Arsenal this season we will be able to turn Leicester into a team that nobody likes playing. It won't be easy as we have a depleated squad but we have identified the areas we need to impove on and we will be working flat out to get the best possible squad together over the coming weeks to challenge for the League 1 title.
1. sort out world peace 2. have a word with Britney Spears before she loses her kids for good 3. win the lottery
and
1, win the FA cup now some of my young squad are more experienced and some new signings 2. Fight with Man Utd for 3rd place - and Liverpool and Chelsea for top spot - although my plan is still to mount a massive assault next season and consolidate youth and transfers this season - that doesnt mean we wont be going for it though!
Good topic...This season i will have a few main aims;
1. Maintain the turnaround in fortunes of the club and try to push for the play offs. 2. Reduce the average age of my squad and build a sustainable future for Coventry City FC. 3. Lose to Watford. 4. Help Athletico Madrid improve its youngsters with some first team football.

Rich? Why is Rich trying to beat Leeds GG? Unless you mean Rich is trying to beat leeds players with a big stick (something that should def happen in real life!!!)
Being honest im not 100 % i will be in the game for the full season. Im getting real cheesed off with people pulling out of big money deals. He knows who im talking about
It would be a shame if you let one bad manager or deal stop you playing mate - but i know how you feel - it has happened to me a few times over the years
Yep thats right Steve. I didnt want to name drop, But when someone reads another message board and they read you stating that you got a good deal, does that mean your taking the piss out of them and they then drop a million off the price tag after the deal had been agreed. Very poor. The worst part about it is that iv bought in 1 winger on loan who i promised to play every game, sell my other winger and planned to use his money to buy another winger to give me a fighting chance. People like him should have warnings on them. Im now stuck with a lop-sided midfield cos i promised to play the loan signing.
Iv just been told the deal is now actually back on . The reason being was a bit of banter, Strange banter to me though.Appologies if im in the wrong but i didnt really find it funny
perhaps this could be a lesson then - that perhaps keeping the matter private would have been a better option lads?
and if not - suely the media pages is a better avenue avaliable than stirring things up on the message board - it used to lead to a lot of unneccessary arugments on the old game for anyone that didnt know - and im sure most of us dont want to see it come back
Nice of you to go public i must admit, first on the Cardiff City Message Board (oh yes i do read it), and secondly on here. If you actually read the City Messageboard, you would see my reply.
I also want to state here, that not once have i pulled out of any sort of deal. And a few managers i have dealt with would know this.
Gareth, i think you took the email to heart too much fella, as it was just meant to be a bit of friendly banter, as i now how long it took for us to sort out a deal. So based on how long it took us to sort the deal out, why on earth would i pull out. (All of this i have previoulsy said on the Cty M.B)
Just off the cuff, Simon (Arsenal) am i really a bad manager mate? Lol
