Yes Yes as you keep saying. It would be more than a disappointment to drop points against me or Coventry now that you have guarenteed the Watford faithful 6 points over the 2 games.

I will conceed that maybe you aren't the best team in the league anymore. I might have been abit hasty giving you that tag as with the players that you sold and the ones you have replaced them with probably now makes you 2nd favourites. Either way - You should still be in with a great shout of winning the league and anything less than 2nd would be a huge shock and disappointment to the Watford fans.

I said from the start I want to finish 2nd. if I finish higher someone will have egg on their face.

you do not need to understand my signings steve just take comfort in the knowledge they will get me promoted this season and help me to victory over you. you have been selling pique and I have been buying similar players so I will prefer my policy.

you should worry about what excuse you are going to come up with this week for your fans when you lose again!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it will be a very hard game this week as Southampton have a very good team and the best midfield in many divisions but I think that it will be closer than a few think. I'm confident that we can get something!

The Pique deal and 2 that go this week are only paving the way for better players to come in. I trust myself with money in the market and I know I will buy thr right player(s) to compete. Then on top I have a nice sprinkling of loan players like a sprig of mint on top of a good desert!

it might be close but I cannot see you getting anything from it the form they are in and the form you are in.

my work will be finished in an hour when I have my last words with my players. we will be trying to give crystal palace hell.
