Peter Crouch is for sale!



The time has come for me to part with everyone's favourite lanky centre forward. He's been a good member of my squad, but the time has come for him to move on.

At age 28, he still has plenty of seasons left in him, and would do a good job at most clubs in Football Academy. Unfortunately for him, he's behind two quality strikers at the moment so isn't getting too much pitch-time, but the game he did play this season saw him grab a goal.

If you can't be bothered searching for his stats, they are:
Defence: 5, Attack: 8, Skill: 7, Talent: 3

Unfortunately no stat for crazy bicycle kicks but we can give him a 10 for that wink.gif

Anyway, his FA valuation is exactly £10m, so let's start the bidding there shall we.

I look forward to hearing from any interested managers.

After rejecting several offers over the past few days, I have now had a firm bid for Crouch which has tempted me.

It is just below my original asking price, and I've not yet accepted it as I'm in no rush to sell, but just to a warning to anyone else who may still be pondering whether to make a move for Peter.

I'm planning to make a decision over the weekend or in the very early part of next week, so if you wish to make your interest known then you have a couple of days to do so.

Thanks to everyone so far who has emailed me/sent me PM's regarding Crouch.
