It is with regret that I must inform you that I cannot manage Villarreal with immediate effect.
Although my time at this club is brief, I have enjoyed myself immensely, and gained valuable experience. As a result, I feel that the lure of a club in the USA a better prospect for my long term career plans.
I hope I have left VCF in a stable condition, both financially and with a strong squad. I think I have taken the club as far as I can,and I feel that some new blood is required to take it to the next level.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish my replacement every success for the future. I will be keeping an eye on their career with interest.
