I don't really see the point of starting an auction and then just cancelling it when you only get one bid. You had set a reserve and Dale bid over that reserve so you shouldn't really offer an auction if you're not going to stick to it.

No it doesn't affect me but I just don't like the idea of people advertising auctions and then letting managers down by withdrawing them, small print or no small print. If you had an idea of how much you wanted I just think maybe it would have been a better idea to just offer him for that price.
Thanks
Rob

What if a manager was waiting to put a bid in the day of the deadline you set Jonathan? You might have cost yourself a million or two by pulling the plug on the auction. Yes you have covered yourself with a small print but what is the point of auctioning a player if you have no intent on going through with it? It seem like a waste of everyones time
A good deal for Dale

Listen, if anyone wants to make a bid for Kightly feel free to PM me. The auction is cancelled end of. Only person it has affected is dale and at the moment Dale and myself are in discussions about a deal. So if any wants to make a bid be quick if not, please keep out of something thats nothing to do with you.
Bloody hell, not sure what has inspired this witch hunt! Jop covered his bases. It works both ways. If i saw that i wouldn't bid because it implied it could well happen. So I don't think it requires everyone getting on his back!
