Racing Santander manager, Terry Tezza Manifold is reported to be unhappy in Spain. Whilst his time at Racing Santander has been both enjoyable and worthwhile, from a managerial point of view, keeping in touch with his wife & children by telephone is taking its toll. When he moved to Spain 2 seasons ago his wife opted to stay in London for the sake of the childrens education. The current spirit at Racing Santander is high and the signings over the close season are only just beginning to show on the pitch. If he was to go he would be missed. He has had very little money to improve the team and has had to resort to selling some decent players in order to strengthen the overall side.
A senior member on the Board of the Club, whilst not wishing to be named, has suggested that he has had an approach from an English football club. We would not want him to stay here if his heart is in England but, he does have two years left on a contract. I am sure we have had not heard the last of this one.
