Manager of the Month (week 19) - Spanish Segunda

The Spanish Segunda has been on slow down over the past few games with automatic promotion decided and Almeria, Cadiz, and Deportivo all but assured of their chance in the play-off lottery. As such managers have taken the opportunity to rest their squads and give younger guys a chance. This has led to many teams displaying uncharacteristic results with teams beating each other. Real Zaragoza and Celta Vigo face off this week in the title decider, and both will be hopeful of finishing off their seasons in style.

On the positive side opportunities to rest players from Almeria, Cadiz and Deportivo should mean the play-offs becoming a tasty affair between the best squads each can offer.

Please read over the following synopsis before casting your vote on your Segunda manager of the month;

Richard Jeffries (Real Zaragoza) Zaragoza have breezed through this league season untroubled and will be forgiven for this months dip in form. That said the league leaders have still registered 8 points from a possible 12 to leave Celta Vigo needing victory to deny Jeffries the league title.

Points won; 8/12  Positional Change; 1st > 1st

Gareth Gardener (Celta Vigo)
As has developed into the ongoing story of Segunda Vigo have just failed to better the results from Zaragoza and really put pressure on them for their top spot. Saying that Vigo will see their clash with their challengers as a genuine chance to grasp the title and boss, Gareth Gardener, will no doubt believe his side are more than capable of their brief.

Points won; 8/12  Positional Change; 2nd > 2nd
