Manager of the Month (week 19) - Italian Serie B

Finally it seems Serie B has come to terms with Sampdoria. The heavyweights have been sensational all season and look like they have an excellent chance of being more than competitive next term. However, Genoa, Palermo and Cagliari have shown significant improvements to suggest Sampdoria may not be the only side who are ready to take the step up.Please read the following synopsis before casting your vote on the Italian Seria B manager of the month.

Ross Walker (Sampdoria) Its all to easy to suggest Sampdoria have had a poor month, but they are a victim of their own success and still posted a decent 7 points from a possible 12 this month. Whats more Ross Walker has used his league position to experiment with youth and different tactics in preparation for an assault on Italys top league.

Points won; 7/12  Positional Change; 1st > 1st

Glenn Whitter (Palermo) If only Palermo had started a little better they may well have been pushing Sampdoria all the way for the Serie B title. The Scicilian outfits has been superb recently and have returned an unbeaten 3 wins and a draw in their last four matches. They will follow Sampdoria to Serie A with confidence.

Points won; 10/12  Positional Change; 2nd > 2nd

Steve Davies-Evans (Cagliari)
After struggling early in the season Steve Davies-Evans side have gelled superbly to show genuine quality of late. Their form has led to many believing they could be favourites for the play-offs. Davies-Evans will be hopeful he can end his Cagliari end with a promotion added to his CV.

Points won; 9/12  Postional Change; 7th /\ 4th

However, MOTM does not take into consideration cup performances in its form guide (just as it would in real life).

To be fair i voted for you! But another way of looking at it.

Sampdoria won first two while they were still unbeaten didnt they. And steve has done well this month. You have done consistently well, and that probably was what counted against you this month. People were mroe suprised with steve's good form! lol
