Manager of the Month (week 19) - English Premiership

Chelsea have once again been unflinching in their consistency, despite maximum pressure being applied by their London rivals Arsenal. Man City, Spurs and West Ham continue to fight it out for the top six spots, with the former now looking favorites to head the pile after an impressive month when it counted. Quite how the departure of Coakley will affect Man City is yet to be seen but Chris Hantons appointment deals a blow to Spurs chances of catching their rivals. In the drop zone it seems to be a battle between Newcastle and Fulham with Everton and Wigan losing ground on the pair. Please read the following synopsis of The Premiership and vote for your manager of the month.

John Brady (Chelsea) Chelsea have continued to display their dominance of the English Premiership under the stewardship of ex-Barcelona boss John Brady and a successive league title could be secured as early as this weekend. Although Arsenal have chased hard a consecutive monthly maximum points haul sees The Blues maintain their six point gap over their London rivals.

Points won; 12/12  Positional Change; 1st > 1st

Simon Newcombe (Arsenal) Simon Newcombe must be wondering just what he has to do to catch Chelsea. The Gunners boss has led his side to 4 wins out of 4 this month, a commendable feat, but even that is not enough to real a dominant Chelsea into their grasp. Next year will be a big season for Newcombe as he searches for ways to bridge the gap to the dominant Kensington outfit.

Points won; 12/12  Positional Change 2nd > 2nd

Iain Kochanowski (Man Utd) United remain in somewhat of a transitional phase. As superstars like Rooney and Ronaldinho swapped the red of Manchester for the white of Madrid Kochanowski has moved to freshen his squad with talented youngsters in the form of Danielle De Rossi and Gonzalo Higuain. Despite this the Old Trafford outfit have maintained a good run of form, returning 9 points from a possible 12 this month, to just about keep Liverpool at bay behind them.

Points won; 9/12  Positional Change 3rd > 3rd

Luke Coakley (Man City) As news broke of Coakleys departure it is not suprising many Man City fans are marking the loss of their manager as a very dark day in the history of their football club. Under stringent targets, and the pressure of a demanding chairman Coakleys side have delivered when it mattered and returned 12 points out of 12 to leave the Eastlands club in contention for their top six finish.

Points won; 12/12  Positional Change; 6th /\ 5th
