FA Debate - Relegations

To try and get MOTFA interactive again I'll be putting up a new debate every week or two.

This first one will be about releagations.

Discuss who you think will be relegated this season, who are your predictions to go down from the Premiership, Championship, Serie A, and La Liga?

This debate will be re-opened later in the season hopefully, so you can see just how well your predictions are doing.

Feel free to include reasons for your picks, to allow other managers to see your logic but also to then agree/disagree with you.

Richard.

Relegated this season:

Premiership is tricky i believe the team with the biggest problem is Coventry i'd of said they might of had a chance if they Mark at the helm but now he's left i don't see them having enough about them to survive they have no guidance and while they have a quality squad in parts i don't tink that'll be enough

Portsmouth have recently got in jackie yeo but i think they've got big problems you look through the team and the depth and quality isn't there the midfield is woeful and while the have the likes of pedro mendes and david trezeguet are goo playrs the problem is they're generally all old players and you can't rely on half a dozens players who should be playingat lower league teams and half that won't be able to last the pace of a whole season or retire at the season

Watford might struggle espeically seeing as Jamie Walker has left the club but wth the players he has instilled in the tea i have a feeling they can survive because they have a lot of quality youth players with a good rage of experienced pro's the one problem tey have is no manger of course doesnt help but they only have 2 striker and they really could do with a
3rd and they do have the money to buy one.

West Brom again might struggle but i think they to can survive becuse paul is a very good manager he has many quality players such as Pirlo and i think they'll have enough quality as they have a lot of back up in the squad in order to survive this season

Newcastle for all the quality they have they haven't produced they only just survived last season Martin Turney need to gt his players playing to the ability they should be players like scott parker and Michael Owen have to start playing well on a consitent basis otherwise they might be in the trouble that dogged the team last season

My tips for relegation from the Prem: Coventry,Portsmouth and Newcastle

Others that'll struggle but i think will survive: West Brom,Watford

Right now on to the championship

Bristol city have surprise already by pulling 2 draw out the bag already but they'll struggle Stuart's team has been punching well above their weight and you get the feeling when the fairytale dream will start to topple i think it'll be hit or miss for them to survive

Norwich i think are certain of going down sadly because half of their team is so bad they gk isn't championship quality neither is their cb's they hve t rely on jay tabb matty fryatt and david healy to do miracles again they have no manager i can't see anything but relegation

Fulham are on a downward spiral they have too many old players and a lot of poor players as well i think they'll be relegated

Crystal palace have finally go promoted and i think the will have just enough quality to survive they have a good midfield and good strikers problems will be defence wise

Blackburn who just saved themselves from admin have got a good age o players but there has been a bad feeling around the club seeing as they haven't gone up straight away and i have feeling they could be dragged into a relegation fight if they're not careful

Southampton also need to be aware of the bottom three they've struggled so far but i think they'll have the quality again this year to survive

My Tips for relegation from the Championship: Norwich,Fulham, Bristol City

Others that'll struggle but i think will survive: Blackburn,Crystal Palace,Southampton

Now on to Serie A where are there are 5 teams that'll be relegation contenders sadly that involves my team

First i believe the worst team in the league is not Ascoli i think Empoli's is i believe they have a worst squad and are now managerless so i think the likeliest to go down

My team Ascoli i think will be relegated a well because we have no funds and while i have a lot of young taented youths players they're not quite serie a quality yet and i haven't got a lot of back up in my team but whilst this im still confident i can spring a surprise or two wth team and i don't plan on selling any of my talent to try and survive i'l work with what ive got and simply add to it

Next would be Brescia they don't have much quality and they only survived last season thanks to jadid and kamara this season i dont think they'll be so lucky this season

Palermo have some quality players such as Kris Commons bt the depth of the squad like many other teams is the problem as the subs they have aren't serie a quality they havent lost yet though

Sampdoria i think they'll survive but they don' have the quality to beating the big teams and will have to rely on beatin the smallerteams otherwise they might be in trouble

My Tips For Relegation From Seria A: Empoli,Brescia,Ascoli

Others that'll struggle but survive: Palermo,Sampdoria

Finally Spanish La Liga after this im having t this has taken me ages to write haha

I think the ones that'll go down are down to four teams

Almeria are favourite to go down they have no outstandng players they have donw amazing to get promoted but they've now lot there manager to Udinese and no one can see them saying up

Celta Vigo Gareth has done a good job with them but there defence is going to let them down this season thy have quality players up front in kazim richards and levi porter but they wnt be enough if they cant defend

Real Zaragoza newly promoted i think have enough about them to survive they have a good manager and they have the quality to stay up they need the odd player but they have some money the can work with to sort it

Recreativo Huelva seem to struggle each year in this division and have started badly yet again i would say the would survive but as they are managerless im tempted to say they will now get relegated

Tips for Relegation From the Spanish La Liga: Almeria,Celta Vigo,Recreativo Huelva

Others that'll struggle but survive: Real Zaragoza,Villarreal

That my opinion of the whole lot i hope im wrong about my own team haha

thanks Jonny
