As the Fulham manager arrived at the training ground this morning he was surrounded by the media anxious for a comment on the story in a London newspaper that Fulham are talking to a Nigerian businessman over the sale of the club. Terry Manifold would only say "The Chairman deals with these issues, my job is to prepare for a very important match on Friday and put a team out." "It obviously will eventually have an affect on my future but it is beyond my control." "What you can't influence you have to leave to others."  "I took over this club when it was in trouble, that situation has not been resolved yet."
