FULHAM FIGHT BACK

The atmosphere at Craven Cottage was electric at full time on Saturday night. The win against Bristol City, 6th in the league, was only their second straight win of the season. The manager was very cautious when asked if they had turned the corner. No, things went better today, but, we have a big game on Saturday against Bolton and we have a lot of work to do. The old combination of Helguson & Ferreira really worked today in what can only be described as difficult conditions. We held onto the ball for longer periods and when you have the ball you obviously have more opportunity to score. Overall we created a lot more chances.Terry tells me he was let down with a couple of signings this weekend, he did try & sign goalkeeper Bertand Laquit on a free transfer but  A.C.Milan beat him to it. The other deal will hopefully go through this week. When this is done Terry says his restructuring will be complete and it will then be down to pulling it all together. We just want to stay up, Terry said as his mobile phone sounded.  The loan period of Florent Malouda from Liverpool will shortly be coming to an end but Emerson, brought in recently, is progressing well and should be an adequate replacement.
