I would like to apply for the vacant managers position at Sheffield Wednesday. Since joining the FA world, i have experienced four seasons in the english league system including two in league 1. Having, at first reached the playoffs, then gaining promotion with Southampton, i feel i know what it takes to get a team promoted from league 1.

From season 3 i took charge at West Brom, changing around a very good side to suit a certain style, and gaining promotion through the playoffs. This season the aim was to keep the relegation favorites in the premier league, West Brom currently sit 4th with 3 games remaining and are gaureenteed a place in the top 6. I feel that this is the level Sheffield Wednesday can get to, and as they have more resources perhaps in the seasons to come they can reach even higher.

I always try to play attacking, enteratining football that often results in plenty of goals at both ends of the pitch, i also feel i have a good track record in the transfer market, and have already drawn up a list of exciting players that can get sheffield Wednesday out of league 1, should they be unsuccessful this season.

if my application is a success, i would be looking to take over at the start of next season when my current contract with West Brom expires.
