Inspired by comments in the media about recent matches, I thought I'd throw open a thread to nominations for hall of fame entrants. They can be players, managers, teams, matches, etc. as long as you say who you're nominating and say why.
If I think your proposal is good enough, I'll induct them into the FA hall of fame. At the same time, if you feel someone should be removed from those I've inducted, make that proposal here too and your reason why. This might be because you feel a more deserving match should replace the existing one in there based on the reasons given when it was inducted.
Obviously there is nothing in there at the moment so nominees only to begin with.
The Liverpool manager for turning Liverpool around - at the time of typing he has won the domestic cup, is in the final of the European Cup and still has a chance of winning the league on the final day of the season - quite a season!
The WBA manager for a season of upsetting the odds and guiding a newly promoted club to fourth in its first season in the top flight
The Spurs the manager for saving the club from relegation when they looked doomed for the drop.
