Hullo Chaps

Do people also want as a trial for this season a special section for Season long bets on certain things?

I am thinking (for example)

Leading English Goalscorer

1. Fernando Torres 1/5
2. Steven Gerrard 10/1
3. Kolo Toure 25/1

etc etc - im sure you get the idea. Perhaps to also include most carded player, most assists etc etc

What do people think?  Obviously there is no hard data to generate the odds from a program - but I would base the bets on a bit of logic, past FA performance, Simon J Team of the Year stuff and make them realistic

You would then have untill week 5 to place an amount of your choosing on these bets and then in the last week of the season they wil be added to your total

Do people like the idea? Or think its a bit unneccesary? Might spice up the final weeks and offer good odds to people willing to take the risk and tuck away money in the first weeks of the season?

Someone made a good point that as it stands, if it closes in week 5 - a large number of people wouldnt have the amounts of money to make it viable

So perhaps it could be bought in as a mid season special in the mid season update? Just a thought

I think it's a good idea but maybe as a mid season thing that opens for a week.

In the programme I gave you, it produces odds for exact scores etc. so maybe thats something you could look into as a more weekly thing if people wanted something a bit more different? It should all produce it on the same page so it'd be no extra work for you.
